Yarsan democratic organization condemns building of mosque among Yarsan population

Islamic Republic of Iran in line with over three decades of Islamisation process policy and assimilation of Non-Muslims citizens, continues building mosques in the areas with Yarsan population.

Iranian ruling government (Velayat-e-Faqih regime), along with its three decades of anti Yarsan policies and violation of principle basics civil rights stipulated in the its own constitution, is building the mosque and the other Islamic temples in Yarsan’s village under the name «Kalkosh ” (Govar District, Gilan-e Gharb County, Kermanshah Province). This assimilation policy taking place to destroy the already deprived, Yarsan society.

According to anti “cultural invasion of the West” Behavior of the Islamic leadership of Iran, then what should mean the building of mosque and Islamic temples in the Yarsan area?

It is undeniable that during decades of pressures and restrictions by authoritarian government in way of diversion of Yarsan thoughts and belief had been failed. Despite all the religious harassment on Yarsan followers, not only increase their willing to continue their peaceful struggle for justice, but also, they are more determined to deal with the policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Reactionary and fascist engagement with Yarsan people issue by Islamic Republic of Iran Just shows a lack of power and inability of a regime to the destruction of This people’s morale inexorably.

A policy of threats, allurement, and humiliation against Yarsan followers from the beginning of the Islamic regime in Iran, not been able to wreck the will of the Yarsan community for their commitment to humanitarian principles and beliefs. And any imposed non-Yarsan obligation on Yarsan People is acted contrary to the desires of the operators of power.

Building mosque in the Gilan-e Gharb region where majority of population are Yarsan, is evidence to violation of the People right to choose. If Iranian government try to replace Universal Human Rights with self-established citizenship rights, and claiming to defend human rights of its own norms and values of Islam, so preventing and deep concern of Yarsan community to create and build the mosque in the very heart of Yarsan’s village is the inalienable right of this people.

Yarsan democratic organization has declared its deep protest ongoing repression of Yarsan people and creating mental and emotional harassment for these citizens by the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Yarsan democratic organization expectation of all society, human rights organizations and international human right community is to put pressure on the Islamic Republic of Iran to stop assimilation and islamisation of the Yarsan population and we ask all the organizations involved in human rights to deliver this demand to the highest authority of the country.

Also, Yarsan democratic organization request to all political parties, political and human rights organizations as well as Kurdish and Iranian human rights for cooperation in this context.

The annihilation, destruction, and evacuation of conscience of Yarsan society by Iran’s Islamic regime is a clear violation of Yarsan citizens’ rights, and in stark contrast to the universal values and convention on human rights.

Eventually, Yarsan democratic organization wants all Yarsan people to keep pressure on anti-Yarsan policies by boycotting the mosques and keep empty other Islamic places that have Been imposed in areas where Yarsan Live.
